We love to support our local community. We love to support charities. And we just plain love cars. So when the chance to do all three comes along, the excitement amongst the team is at an absolute high.
It all began in 2020.
Last year, we were proud to donate our time and expertise to a local charity, SpecialEffect. This incredible team modify video game controllers to make gaming fun and inclusive for people of all abilities. Providing the SpecialEffect events van with a full wrap was a lot of fun, and we absolutely loved getting to know the good work SpecialEffect are doing for people with different abilities.
When the organisers of SpecialEffect’s biggest fundraiser, the TwinTown Challenge, got in touch with our Founders, Ryan and Jay, we were thrilled to offer our time and services free once again.
After a quiet period, where the TwinTown Challenge event had to be postponed, organisers have now been able to confirm its return for 2022. With donations going to support the incredible work done by SpecialEffect, we wanted to get in early, spread the word far, and make sure the organisers TwinTown vehicle were a promotional asset to get donations and attention for a good cause.
Adept Graphics has supplied the main organisers, STL Communications and Hexagon Business Centres, with their custom signwriting and vehicle wrap for the event.
About the Twin Town Challenge
The TwinTown Challenge is a charity car challenge that is specifically organised to help fund the good work done by SpecialEffect. All donations and entry fees for the event go straight to SpecialEffect.
For the challenge, participants enter in teams. They are to buy a vehicle for no more than £500 and get to work pimping their ride however they like. The weekend road trip across the twin towns of Witney and Le Touquet is the chance to show off their automotive transformation and win glory and fame for the year.
Locked in for Friday the 29th of April, 2022, the TwinTown Challenge will boast an iconic ‘Top of the Pops’ vehicle wrap to set the bar and promote the event.
