“Platinum Membership was always an appealing proposition for many existing B4 Members but, in all honesty, we didn’t have the right package. Following consultation with the B4 Executive Board, we radically transformed the proposition which made all the difference. Not only were we able to attract more Platinum Members but our existing Members felt more comfortable introducing their contacts with more confidence that they were getting a valuable package of benefits and a growing group of like-minded people and organisations to connect with.” Explained B4’s CEO, Richard Rosser.
“Curating the group has also been vital to its evolution. I always explain to prospective Platinum Members that by joining they’re not guaranteed to win business and that shouldn’t be their driver. By plugging into a group of business leaders who understand the value of trusted relationships, who want to collaborate and learn from each other, they’re already in an environment where business between the members is a natural by-product, not the priority.”
It’s obviously working and with Belmond Le Manoir becoming B4’s 50th Platinum Member this wasn’t simply a milestone but further endorsement of the quality of organisations that B4 is attracting. “We are all very excited that Le Manoir is part of the B4 family from January 2024.” Added Le Manoir’s sales and events manager, Jeanette Williams. B4 Platinum Members can look forward to a 50thCelebration Breakfast at Le Manoir in January, yet another opportunity to connect with new and established Members in a breathtaking venue.
So, with such incredible growth in 2023, what’s the focus in 2024? “B4 isn’t just about B4 Platinum as we have other fantastic Members in the B4 community so we have to make sure that we continue to serve them with great opportunities to connect, learn and have great experiences. That said we do have one hundred Platinum Members firmly in our sights and I’m keen to speak to anyone interested in finding out more.” Added Rosser.
There will also be more dedicated Platinum events to enjoy. In 2023 members have enjoyed events at Daylesford, RH Aynho Park, Soho Farmhouse, Hundred Hills Winery & Vineyards, The Ivy, Silverstone and many more. B4 will also be offering members tickets to established events as it did with 20 guests attending the recent Major Stanleys Rugby. “We’re looking forward to attending Nocturne at Blenheim Palace in June, Silverstone’s 75th Anniversary and Major Stanleys once again in November. In total B4 Platinum Members will have access to well over 70 events in 2024 and we can’t wait to welcome more members to enjoy them with us.” Commented Rosser.
